  2. Dry Roast & grind the ingredients under Rasam powder.
  3. Grind Tomatoes to puree in a blender. Boil it for 5 mins or until raw smell goes.
  4. Remove seeds and Grind Gooseberries to fine paste. Set aside.
  5. Add Oil, Garlic, Curry leaves, Mustard seeds, Fenugreek seeds, Jeera seeds, Asafoetida and Red Chilli.
  6. Add the cooked Tomato puree. Add Toor dal.
  7. Add the Rasam powder. Cook for a minute.
  8. Add the ground Gooseberry/Amla paste. Cook for just a minute. It provides the tanginess for the Rasam..
  9. Garnish with cilantro/Coriander leaves. Yummy & medicinal Rasam is done in no time. Enjoy with Rice.
